consequences

Oct 27

Its the next day.

And the effects wore off, like coming back after a smoke break.

Old things. Old friends. Old places. Old songs. They all lose their thrill over time, some faster, some, maybe, takes forever. And what we do when things get old? We replace. We buy, we craft, we seek, we enjoy.

Well. I guess.

Have we all overlooked the things we can do with old stuff? Endless tinkering, tweaking and discovering what they could be and will be. Mix and match, a makeover, a remodel, its all like a new introduction.

It don’t matter much if we were all stop there and did nothing else. At least we tried something new with something which got boring. All we will be able to do after that, is to decide if it is worth the time to continue.

And if its not, we should stop right there and then, while we finally move on and is still able to have good memories. We offered everything we could to keep it going.

At least I thought I offered everything. It wasn’t enough. And that is why I chose inanimate objects to continue working on. They gives lesser disappointment if everything did not go according to plan. And their math made perfect sense. 2+2=4. Not 5.

All the time, all things I said, has no intention to make someone else look bad. Unless I’m real pissed.

All I did, was to offer them a situation, where they will be able to take a moment and think. To think, if everything they did was worthy. To think, what is really worthy to them. And if by any chance, they think, that the guy speaking these numbers to them is spouting real nonsense, I think their answer to themselves is clear.

That this guy here is clearly not worth their time.
